Our spark–ignited (stoichiometric) natural gas/propane engine generator sets are available in sizes ranging from 5 kW to 150 kW. These are suited to mid–size applications where onsite fuel storage is restricted, a continuous supply of natural gas is readily available or there are local environmental considerations.
A complete selection of voltages, accessories, generator set and control options are available for customizing to your application. Major features include:
- Multiple control system options, including NFPA 110 compliance
- Natural gas, propane or combination fuel systems
- Weather–protective and sound–attenuated enclosures address environmental concerns for outdoor installations
- Strong motor–starting capability and fast recovery from transient load changes to keep your site operational
- Some models are available with optional closed–loop fuel control systems and three–way catalyst to limit emissions to 1.5 grams per brake horsepower–hour
Cummins lean–burn natural gas engine generator sets are available in sizes ranging from 315kW to 2 MW. These feature very low emissions and are suitable for prime power and combined heat and power (CHP) applications. Low BTU fuel option on specific models.
Features and Benefits:
- Optional Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) reduces NOx emissions to levels that meet most stringent air quality standards.
- Ranging in output from 315 kW to 2 MW, lean–burn engines are capable of running on a variable quality gas; from pipeline natural gas to field gas or even biogas with a methane number more than 40.
- Combines high power densities and extended maintenance intervals for an economical solution to prime power or cogeneration needs.
